April brings beautiful colors, new beginnings, and fresh sprouts- reminders of God's grace and creativity. Nature demonstrates God's power and every moment we spend in it reminds us of how truly blessed we are by His gifts. The beauty and wonder of the natural world inspire us, bring us peace, and draw us closer to God's love. When we take the time to enjoy His creation, we also express our gratitude for the ultimate gift of Jesus’ sacrifice.
Unfortunately, not everyone takes the time to appreciate nature or recognize the privilege of enjoying God's creation. Some have abused and neglected Earth's resources, taking them for granted and ignoring the long-term consequences of their actions. As stewards of this world, we are responsible for raising awareness and taking action. Nature allows us to see God's handiwork in action. Simply step outside and witness the masterpiece He has created.
This month, we will celebrate Earth Day and Easter, remembering Jesus' sacrifice and love. We invite you to reflect on the beauty of nature and cherish the incredible gift of salvation. Let's commit to preserving and protecting the Earth, our home. We only have one Earth, and it's up to us to care for it. As parents, we must teach our children that nature is a precious gift from God that we should treasure and protect. We can lead by example, showing our kids how to appreciate and care for God's creation. We must also teach them about Jesus’ love and sacrifice and the great gift of salvation. These are gifts we should not take for granted either.
I encourage you to find ways to enjoy nature with your children and protect it together. Spend time outside, giving thanks to God for His incredible gifts, reflecting on His love for us, and ensuring they understand how much God loves us through His beautiful creation. Nature is a precious reminder of His love that we must never take for granted. Let's honor it, protect it, and show God our gratitude by safeguarding this amazing gift He has given.
